28/10/07: The Tullys Help Cook School Close with a Song
Cook School held a very friendly closing party on 27th October to celebrate their community and achievements in the face of the loss of their school. The Tullys opened proceedings at 10am and played until after lunch, when they had to leave to prepare for a wedding later in the afternoon. The band helped to make it a happy occasion, playing several requests, including "500 Miles". Our aim was to help the school community treasure what they had, rather than focus on the loss to come.
Before starting their Progressive School (AME) and then home education adventure, Cameron and Jamie were pupils at Cook Primary School.
A good, friendly time was had by a very good attendance and many members of the Cook community called down to offer their support - to the school community and to Farmer Tully, whose story they'd been following.

08/09/07: The Tullys Headline Hillston Festival
The Tullys had a ball headlining the Hillston Festival, Saturday 7 September. A great family day celebrating the cultural heritage of the region. It was a great success - lovely people and wonderful town. We'd be proud to be invited back anytime.
The accommodation in Griffith was also great and the whole family piled into the Temora Aircraft Museum on the way home, which was an amazing attraction. Fantastic!
25/08/07: The Tullys on Stateline
25 August 2007: ABC TV followed up our "Farmer Tully" Youtube protest against the ACT Governement and produced a 13 minute doco on the family, the protest, the band and the history of the Tully family in the ACT region.
A great crew spent the day at "Hillview" filming us singing live, and interviewing our parents, Maurice and Maureen Tully. We were impressed with how professional and genuinely interested and encouraging they were.
The program was first aired on Friday evening, 25 August and repeated the following morning, 26th August. It was also broadcast digitally on the following Thursday on ABC 2.
The transcript can be found here: http://www.abc.net.au/stateline/act/content/2006/s2015724.htm
